Niles, OH – 60 Miles
August 7, 2010
I was sweeping today, and there just wasn’t enough time to get the whole team in on time without driving the last few groups to the front. We like to ride as many miles as we can, but when we have a group waiting to see us, we prefer not to keep people waiting. Once in Niles, we had a bit of lunch, had a chance to shower up, and then started a dance party with the Fairhaven Foundation. This could be our last dance, so we all made the most of it by dancing as ridiculously as we could. I met one woman who would only dance if she was alone. She loved to talk though, and tell you about her brothers, and point out signs in the room that she particularly liked. I tried to convince her to dance with me, but with no luck. Our last stop of the day was the Olive Garden, organized for us by the Fairhaven Foundation.
