Rocklin, CA – 795 Miles

June 8, 2010

After a good night’s sleep, and breakfast at the hotel diner, we headed out on the road again. This time going through Utah and Nevada, and ending our journey in Rocklin, California. Tomorrow we’ll be in San Francisco, where I’ll spend a few days at orientation before beginning the 4,000 Bike ride to Washington D.C..

I need to thank some of my newest sponsors first though. Prior to leaving Lawrence, I attended my 10 year high school reunion. It was great to see a lot of familiar faces, many of whom may be reading this right now. I did my best to get the word out about what I’ll be doing this summer, and just want to thank those who have already donated money to help us improve the lives of people with disabilities all over the United States. So far I’ve had donations from Remon Ginsburg, Eric Caughey, and Paul Epp. I also want to thank Andrea Whittemore, or as she put it “Mrs. W.–former teacher of Jeff and his dear, precious wife!” for her donation as well! We couldn’t do what we’re doing without all of your help. If you haven’t donated yet, please visit myjoh.serbus.co.uk/donate.php, and even if you have, you can help out by telling others my story.
